“When we met our son in his orphanage just a week shy of his first birthday, we were stunned and really unprepared for what we faced. He was very, very small and thin, weighing just 13 pounds. He could not sit or crawl and didn't show any emotion.

Within a few days after we took custody of him he began to express feelings and emotions, holding his head up for longer periods of times and even propping himself up on his arms.

His progress continued at an amazing rate after we returned home. Within a month he was sitting, a few weeks later crawling, a month later standing and by the end of our fourth month home, was walking.

Today, just nine months after bringing our angel home, he is a full fledged toddler, a rough and tumble little boy... We are humbled by his strength, courage, and perseverance - he, at 21 months old, is our hero! ”

Investment Board

Investment Board Members are those who believe in the Gift of Adoption mission and are committed to the organization’s success. They endorse the organization by pledging $2,500 per year for three years to fund core operations.

Babysit for Adoption

Babysit for Adoption is a great way for teens to make a difference in the lives of children around the world. Working on their own or as part of a group, teens simply agree to babysit for a family and, in lieu of pay, request a donation be made to Gift of Adoption. 100% of the proceeds from this program fund adoption assistance grants.

United Way/Combined Federal Campaign

Make a donation by participating in a United Way Write-In Campaign. Because of our 501(c)3 status, Gift of Adoption Fund qualifies for the United Way write-in option (also known as the Donors Choose option). Federal, military, and U.S. Postal Service employees can make payroll contributions to Gift of Adoption through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), making it convenient to give by spreading the contribution across the entire year.
