Adoption Grant Sponsors partner with GOA to fully fund a Gift of Adoption grant to support the completion of adoptions to a child(ren) in vulnerable circumstances. Through this partnership, Adoption Grant Sponsors keep children out of foster care, prevent children from aging out of the orphanage system, and help children avoid many other undesirable outcomes through removing financial barriers to adoption.
How it Works:
Become an Adoption Grant Sponsor by making a one-time gift or a 4-year pledge paid annually, or monthly of $6,000 to underwrite the average cost of one adoption grant provided by Gift of Adoption.
Adoption Grant Sponsors, will fund one of GOA’s adoption grants to complete the adoption of a child(ren) and receive a story and photo about the adoption they sponsored once the adoption is complete.
GOA requests periodic updates from Adoption Grant Recipients to share with Adoption Grant Sponsors to show the life-long impact of their support. Sharing updates is not required of families, however many do share and it is powerful to see the impact of adoption as the child(ren) grow.
BONUS: GOA offers Adoption Grant Sponsors a hands-on adoption enhancement opportunity to receive a GOA branded tote that they personally fill with small “welcome home” themed gifts and then mail it to the child/family whose grant they sponsored.
