Chapter Goal

Each year, Gift of Adoption Connecticut receives requests from approximately four qualified families – representing a funding need of $16,000. The goal of the Connecticut Chapter’s all-volunteer board is to raise enough funds to help complete each of these adoptions. 100% of the money raised by the chapter is directed to uniting children with forever families in the area.

The chapter is currently seeking leaders throughout Connecticut to get involved as chapter leaders and help the chapter grow and reach more families.

You do not have to adopt to give a child the gift of a family. You can immediately impact the trajectory of a child’s life for the better with your donation today.

In the words of a family recently helped through the Gift of Adoption, here’s our mission in action: “Gift of Adoption helps to remove the financial barrier that often stands in the way between a loving family and a child who needs a family. We experienced first hand the high cost of adoption and wanted to help others. This wonderful organization gives us that opportunity.”

Gift of Adoption responds to COVID-19:

"Gift of Adoption continues to award grants to nearly 33 families each month. It has always been our practice (and it is especially critical now) to work closely with our grant recipients, alongside adoption agency/attorney partners, to ensure that, despite travel plan changes, delays, or unexpected costs their adoptions move forward and their waiting children come home for good."
