About Us
Welcome to the Home Page of the Gift of Adoption Connecticut Chapter.
As of June 2020, Gift of Adoption Connecticut has awarded $88,000 in adoption assistance grants across Connecticut to complete the adoption of 28 children.
Chapter Goal
Each year, Gift of Adoption Connecticut receives requests from approximately six qualified families – representing a funding need of $22,100. The goal of the Connecticut Chapter’s all-volunteer board is to raise enough funds to help complete each of these adoptions. 100% of the money raised by the chapter is directed to uniting children with forever families in the area.
The chapter is currently seeking leaders throughout Connecticut to get involved as chapter leaders and help the chapter grow and reach more families.
You do not have to adopt to give a child the gift of a family. You can immediately impact the trajectory of a child’s life for the better with your donation today.
In the words of a family recently helped through the Gift of Adoption, here’s our mission in action: “Gift of Adoption helps to remove the financial barrier that often stands in the way between a loving family and a child who needs a family. We experienced first hand the high cost of adoption and wanted to help others. This wonderful organization gives us that opportunity.”
100% of donations directly to the Chapter are used to provide adoption grants in this region.
