Connecticut Chapter

About Us

Welcome to the Home Page of the Gift of Adoption Connecticut Chapter.

You do not have to adopt to give a child the gift of a family. You can immediately impact the trajectory of a child’s life for the better with your donation today.

In the words of a family recently helped through the Gift of Adoption, here’s our mission in action: “Gift of Adoption helps to remove the financial barrier that often stands in the way between a loving family and a child who needs a family. We experienced first hand the high cost of adoption and wanted to help others. This wonderful organization gives us that opportunity.”

Gift of Adoption is a national, volunteer-driven charity that raises funds to provide adoption assistance grants to qualified U.S. families to complete the adoptions of vulnerable children – giving them a permanent family and the chance to thrive.

Give Where Your Heart Is: Give Local
During 36 hours on April 24 and 25, the fun and inspiring online giving event will happen for the sixth consecutive year, and it’s all to make our region stronger. Your gift will make an immediate and profound impact in a child’s life by helping their awaiting family welcome them home.

When you support Gift of Adoption, you open doors to education for children; support their social, emotional and physical development; promote the sense of love and security that all children should feel; and instill hope for their future.

Our CT chapter (based in Middlebury) is part of a national organization. 100% of the funds raised will be used to provide grants to adoptive families in our area. Every dollar donated during this Give Local event will be enhanced with bonus funds and GOA CT is also eligible for cash prizes

100% of donations directly to the Chapter are used to provide adoption grants in this region.
