Connecticut Chapter

About Us

Welcome to the Home Page of the Gift of Adoption Connecticut Chapter.

Gift of Adoption Connecticut is currently seeking leaders throughout Connecticut to get involved as chapter leaders and help the chapter grow and reach more families. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Pam Devereux.

Board members are responsible for building awareness and raising funds for this rapidly growing, energetic, national, nonprofit dedicated to putting adoption in reach for the millions of children world-wide without a family.  Gift of Adoption inspires adoption by providing grants to qualified parents – giving children without families permanent homes and the chance to thrive.

Board members can be located anywhere in the state, but must be willing to participate in monthly calls and quarterly in-person meetings to support the development of a strong state presence – as we create awareness of this new philanthropic category and resource our vision.

Today is the perfect day to support GOA CT!

Give Local began at 7 AM today. Every dollar you donate to participating nonprofits from 7 AM on April 25th to 7 PM on April 26th will be enhanced with bonus funds provided by Connecticut Community Foundation and generous Give Local sponsors - making donor dollars stretch farther! Nonprofits will also be eligible for cash prizes!

The Give Local event provides a great opportunity to have your donations go further for the families helped by Gift of Adoption Connecticut.

The first $2,000 of your gifts donated to GOA CT during Give Local will be matched by generous supporters, dollar for dollar!

Your donation will go toward the family grants (which average $3,500) for qualified Connecticut parents who are so close to bringing their children home.

If you are willing to time your donation to coincide with this award, you could help us potentially qualify for the $1,000 prize that will be awarded:

Make your donation on April 25th between 7 PM-10 PM - Gager, Emerson, Bower and Scalzo's Bury Breeze $1,000: $1,000 awarded to the Woodbury, Southbury or Middlebury organization with the most unique donors on April 25th between 7-10 PM.
