Recycle Sneakers. Change Lives.
The CT Chapter is partnering with GotSneakers.com to launch a Sneaker Recycling Fundraiser, and we’d love your help.
Here’s the deal: most of us have a few pairs of old sneakers sitting in the back of the closet. Instead of letting them pile up or end up in a landfill, we can give them new life and make a difference for kids and families right here in Connecticut.
All funds raised will go to Gift of Adoption (CT Chapter), providing financial support to families adopting children in need.
How It Works
Gather up your old sneakers — any brand, any size, any condition. Drop them off at one of our collection spots (coming soon). GotSneakers.com will handle the rest.
Good-quality sneakers are cleaned and re-used in secondhand markets around the world; worn-out ones are recycled responsibly — materials get reused or turned into clean energy.
For every pair collected, funds go straight to Gift of Adoption (CT Chapter) to help bring children home to loving families. Depending on the condition of the shoes, GOA will receive up to $7 per pair.
