The GOA Michigan Stepping Up Climb is a unique, challenging fitness event in which participants climb stairs in a test of endurance. Whether climbing to improve timing or to simply reach new heights, this event is a great way to spend the morning with co-workers, friends and family while supporting bringing children together with their forever families.
Climb as many floors as desired or set a goal to reach either the 14th or 28th story at your own pace.
Want to take part in this exciting new event but not sure you can climb all the way to the top? We have three different participation options, so choose whatever steps you can take!
Register to climb to the 14th or 28th Floor or opt for the variable or virtual climb and take the elevator! All registrants will have access to the post-climb reception in the Lobby. Light refreshments will be served!
➢ Power Hour – Climb to the 28th Floor as many times as possible in an hour
Participants will climb the stairs from the lobby level to the 28th floor (and take the elevator down) as many times as possible within one hour
Only climbers’ times in the stairwell will be counted toward their total time
A participant’s hour begins when they cross the start line
Participants must begin their final climb before their individual hour is up; climbers may finish their final climb if their hour ends while they’re in stairwell
➢ Full Climb – Climb all the way to the 28th floor
Participants climb the stairs from the lobby level to the 28th floor
When registering choose from FAST PACE, MODERATE PACE or ELITE HEAT COMPETIITIVE PACE (9:30 AM START)
➢ Partial Climb – Climb to the 14th Floor
Participants climb the stairs from the lobby level to the 14th floor
➢ Variable or Virtual Climb
Climb as many flights as you wish, take the elevator to the 28th Floor or support with a Virtual Climb from home
